How will I feel during the Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment?

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is safe and painless. As the chamber is being pressurized you may feel fullness in your ears. This is very similar to the feeling you experience when you are in an airplane or elevator.

Medical staff in attendance during each treatment session will explain how to clear your ears or equalize the pressure.

How often are treatments given?

Patients are generally treated once a day, but sometimes will require therapy twice a day. Normal treatment days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

The patient breathes 100% oxygen for the prescribed amount of time, usually 60-90 minutes.

Comfort and Safety

During treatment patients sit comfortably, reading, writing or simply relaxing.

Wound Care Clinic

Operates withing the Center and caters for the treatment of chronic Non healing wounds.
